State Rep. Sara Cambensy (D-Marquette) invites residents to join her for next coffee hours in Marquette Township and Newberry. Join Rep. Cambensy on:

  • Monday, May 14, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Marquette Township Hall, 1000 Commerce Drive in Marquette. Joining Rep. Cambensy will be her special guest, Marquette Township Supervisor Lyn Durant.
  • Monday, May 21, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Newberry Village Office, 302 E. McMillan Ave. in Newberry.

State Rep. Sara Cambensy (D-Marquette)  will hold a listening town hall on school safety on Sunday, May 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ishpeming  High School Peterson Auditorium, 319 E. Division St. in Ishpeming. Cambensy will be joined by special guests Ishpeming Public Schools Superintendent Carrie Meyer; Ishpeming Chief of Police Steve Snowaert; Ishpeming teacher, head football coach and mental health advocate Jeff Olson; Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt; Michigan State Police Captain John Halpin and Marquette County Prosecutor Matt Wiese.
