End Drug Immunity
On Wednesday, State Representative Lisa Brown (D-West Bloomfield) sponsored
a plan to repeal a law which granted immunity to drug companies when their
products cause harm or death. The House Judiciary Committee approved three
bills to repeal the law, the only of its kind in the country. Joining Brown
were Mark Meadows (D-East Lansing) and Drug Industry Immunity Must End
(DIIME) member Leslie Richter (left).
