End Drug Immunity
On Wednesday, State Representative Lisa Brown (D-West Bloomfield) sponsored a plan to repeal a law which granted immunity to drug companies when their products cause harm or death. The House Judiciary Committee approved three bills to repeal the law, the only of its kind in the country. Joining Brown were Mark Meadows (D-East Lansing) and Drug Industry Immunity Must End (DIIME) member Leslie Richter (left).
